1. Overview of Stress Tests

We conducted detailed tests on two key stress indicators of three glass types: surface compressive stress and internal tensile stress. The tested glass includes:

  • Heat-strengthened glass

  • Tempered glass

  • High-stress fire-resistant glass

3. Stress Test Results by Glass Type

3.1 Heat-Strengthened Glass

Specific test results are as follows:

  • Surface compressive stress value: 35.4MPa

4. Stress Curve Analysis

For the stress distribution curve of the tested glass:

  • Abscissa: Represents the thickness direction of the glass (i.e., the depth from the glass surface to the center).

  • Ordinate: Represents the stress value (unit: MPa).

  • Stress value definition:

    • Negative values = Compressive stress area (mainly distributed on the glass surface).

    • Positive values = Central tensile stress (mainly distributed in the glass core).
