Architectural Glass Measurement

Magnetron Sputtering Line Measurement

In 1994, the global first commercialized set of Multi-channel Transmittance Measurement System developed by Aoptek was introduced into the market successfully. In 1996 the global first commercialized Online Optical Scanning Color Measurement System developed was launched. With technology developing & accumulating for many years, Aoptek’s measurement technology gradually towards to the top, online measuring systems evolved from simple to complex, from single function to multiple functions, with products’ humanized design and convenient operation, more and more companies cooperate with Aoptek, such as CSG, North Glass, China Glass, Xinyi Glass etc.. So far, more than 200 sets of online measurement systems have been installed on coating production lines.

Recommended Instruments:

  1. Online Spectral Transmittance Measurement System/Filmonitor6110  (Insitu )
  2. Online Spectral T&R Scanning Measurement System/Filmonitor6300 ( Exsitu)

CVD Line Measurement

With the experience accumulated for many years, Aoptek has devoted to research and develop measurement instruments for float glass since 1988. According to the features of float glass production line, Aoptek develops a series of online optical performance measurement system, many core technologies of which are pioneered and reach the world’s top.

Recommended Instruments:

  1. Online T&R Spectrophotometer for Float Glass Production Line/Filmonitor6330
  2. Online Spectral Reflectance Scanning Measurement System/Filmonitor6200

Glass Color Measurement

The color of building glass is mainly composed of reflection color and transmission color. The coating on glass surface can selectively reflect or absorb visible light in a certain wave range. Thus people use this principle to achieve the purpose of architectural color design. By using spectrophotometric colorimetry, the parameters of reflectance, transmittance and chromatic aberration, the corresponding optical color can be measured. This can provide effective guidance for the quality control of coated glass production enterprises.

Meet Standards:ISO 10526, ISO 10527, ISO 9050。

Glass Sheet Resistance Measurement

The surface resistance of coated glass, which also known as sheet resistance (Ohm/sq.), is a measurement value used to indirectly characterize the thermal infrared properties of coatings.

Recommended Instruments:

Non-Destructive Sheet Resistance Meter-OHMETER OM1

Glass U Value Measurement

U value refers to the heat transferred per unit area per unit time when the air temperature difference on both sides of the enclosure is 1 degree (k or ℃), which reflects the strength of heat transfer process and is an important factor affecting the energy saving effect of glass

Recommended Instruments:

U Value Instrument GlassMeter800K

Glass Opto-thermal Measurement

Shading coefficient (SC) and thermal transmittance of glazing K value are two essential parameters for energy saving glass.

Shading coefficient (SC) represents the ability of glass to shield or resist the sun. If the glass shading coefficient is smaller, the better the performance of the surface glass to block the sunlight heat from radiating into the room is better, which can reduce the direct solar radiation energy entering the room, so as to achieve the effect of energy saving and emission reduction.

Meet Standards:ISO 9050, ISO 10292, ISO 15099, EN673。

Tin Side Detect

When the float glass is formed, the high temperature glass belt floats on the molten tin surface, so a amount of tin is infiltrated into the bottom surface of the glass. This tin-penetrating mask has many special properties, which have a significant impact on the further processing of glass. In the glass production process, the manufacturer coats the non-Tin surface for a firmer film. Therefore, tin surface detection is an indispensable process in glass production and processing.
